Our History
We are a small farmer family who started to work in agriculture since 1958, dedicating mainly to cultivating corn, beans, potatoes, and oats for our own use and for feed for our cattle.
Over the years we started to distribute these products, realising how difficult it was for small producers like us to sell their harvest, we started to look for new market opportunities.
Thinking about the contribution we could make to the local farmer community we formed Grupo Altababicora, trying to help other producers like us to commercialize their harvest in Mexico and abroad.
Our Goal
We have decided to dedicate to the production of organic grains and other organic products.
We aim to establish a network of producers of organic grains and actively contribute healthy products to the market, products that are free of chemicals and that are not genetically modified.

We received our first NOP certificate
In December 2015 we received our first NOP certificate for our organic blue corn.
Establishing a network of producers
We started to establish a network of producers of organic blue corn in the Alta and Baja Babícora region.
